"SMISHING" ALERT! Recently, random members of the community received cell phone text messages (SMS) from an unknown person purporting to be from Texoma Community Credit Union. This message informs the receiver that their TCCU credit or debit card has been deactivated, and gives a phone number to call to reactivate the card. This message is fraudulent. Do not reply to the sender with any information regarding your TCCU account! TCCU is working with enforcement authorities to stop these criminals. Unfortunately, there is little we can do to prevent such attempts from occuring. If you have received one of these SMS text messages (called a "smishing" attack) please report it at 851-4046 or email yvette@texomacu.com. Important: If you have given out sensitive account information, immediate steps must be taken to protect your account.
